first name:: Elizabeth. middle name:: Rose last name:: Farris nicknames:: Beth or Liz
date of birth:: May 12 current age:: 15 sexual orientation:: guys
wand:: 9 1/2 inches, willow, phoenix feather. pets:: Cat named Figaro.
overall appearance::
Beth would never consider herself beautiful. She is too critical of herself to do that. But most other people would consider her pretty. With sandy blond hair that fall slightly below her shoulders in beachy waves, and brown, upturned eyes, she is not an eyesore. She has pale, almost flawless skin, and pale, rose colored lips.
overall personality::
PERFECTIONIST Beth is most definitely a perfectionist. She likes everything to be perfect and controllable, nothing to be out of place or wrong. It bothers her when things don't go the way she planned. But being a perfectionist is the main reason she has the second highest GPA in the school, beat only by LANDON1. FRIENDLY Beth is a sweet, friendly girl. She likes to meet new people, although she is sometimes considered a nerd because of how well she does in school. She would never be mean to anyone on purpose, and actually has quite a lot of friends. INDEPENDENT Beth is quite capable of doing things for herself. She'll accept help from others, but she much prefers to do things by herself, without the help of others. DETERMINED When Beth wants something, she will not be stopped before she gets it. She doesn't let anyone tell her her limits, and she'll do almost anything to get what she wants.
hometown:: Philipsburg, Montana blood type:: Half Blood character history::
Elizabeth Rose Farris was born on May 12th in the small town of Philipsburg, Montana, to two loving parents, Maura and Patrick Farris. Maura Farris was a muggle, and Patrick Farris was a wizard. Elizabeth was the first, and the last child that the couple had. Beth liked being an only child because she didn't have to compete for her parents attention. But when she was three years old, her parents died in a fire, and she went to Salem, Massachusetts to live with her aunt and uncle. Luckily, her aunt was her fathers sister and was also a witch, so she already knew about Salem's witches institute, and knew that Beth would go there. Having lost her parents at a young age, Beth's aunt and uncle filled the slot, having no children of there own. She met one of her best friends, HAMILTON, when she was four years old, and he was one of the only people around her age that she knew. Beth grew up putting pressure on herself, she had to be perfect, because that's what her parents would have wanted, or so she told herself. When she started school, she became what you would call a nerd, although she wasn't socially awkward. She just enjoyed school and exceeding at what she did. _________________________________________________________________________________________

Abbie listened as the boy answered her question. She figured if he wasn't even sure about why it was unsafe, it wouldn't be very smart just to stand around and try and figure it out. A frown crossed her face when he said that might not be all. What else could be going on in this corridor? "Yeah" she said when he said it was better to be safe than sorry. She really didn't feel like going to the hospital wing this early in the school year, especially for just being in the wrong place at the wrong time. In fact, she wished she wasn't there at all, wanting to be back in the Ravenclaw common room. If only she hadn't been wondering around the castle in the first place. But now was no time to feel sorry for herself for getting lost. Or feeling stupid, which she really did at the moment, especially after the look he gave her when she asked where the Grand Staircase was. "No, I'm not new at Hogwarts." she responded to his question. "I just am," she didn't want to say lost, because she knew where she was, she just couldn't remember how to get back to the Grand Staircase from there. "not sure which way I should go." Graciously, she avoided saying lost, hoping that it seemed like she wasn't sure which way she should go to get out of the unsafe corridor, not that she was hopelessly lost in the place she had spent the last five years wandering around.
Listening as he tried to tell her which way to go, then telling her he would just go there with her, she let a little sigh of relief pass through her. Knowing she probably would have gotten lost again if he had just given her directions, she was grateful for his offer to take her there himself. For being in Ravenclaw, she forgot things dreadfully easily. Especially directions, that's what had gotten her lost in the first place. Anything she read in a book or was taught in class stuck in her mind like cement, but things like directions slipped out of her mind just as soon as they entered. Keeping her wand out at the boys suggestion, she looked around down the corridor to see if there was anything that looked strange. But then again, it wasn't really strange to see strange things at Hogwarts, in fact, it was pretty ordinary.
Abbie followed the boy as he began walking down the hall, not wanting to be left alone once again. She watched as he turned around, probably to check if she was coming, and she thought she noticed his eyes lock on something behind her. Her thought was confirmed when she heard his voice yell 'Behind you' and he raised his wand and pointed it at something. Whipping her head around, she saw what it was just as it was blasted away. "What the hell..." she said, hoping there wasn't anything else that was flying at her. Not seeing anything, she turned back around. Walking very quickly, well more like running, she caught up with the boy, as he quickly made his way out of the corridor. She listened to him as he told her to retreat and keep her wand out. Of course she was going to keep her wand out, seeing as she was almost killed by a flying vase.
Wanting to get out of there as soon as possible, she followed behind the boy closely, not wanting to lose sight of him. "Do you know how much of the corridor is unsafe?" she asked him as the walked quickly, wondering how much longer they'd be in danger. Another tremor sent her stumbling forward, almost onto the floor. Well, at least the trembling floor was better than flying vases. Once again regaining her balance, she gripped her wand tightly and looked around, just to make sure there was nothing else flying about. She didn't see anything, so she continued to walk, hoping they would soon be out of danger, and safely away from the dangerous corridor.
